The Tata Yodha is a toned down version of the Xenon in terms of the mechanism but has a bigger cargo carrying capacity due to the single cab setup. The truck has a gross vehicle weight of 3,350 kilograms while the total payload carrying capacity is 1,500 kilograms.
The braking in the Yodha pickup truck is handled by the same setup as the Xenon, that is, discs for the front and drums for the rear. As for the suspension, there are six leaves for the Semi-elliptical springs while the rear has an Innovative Semi-elliptical type.
As for the mechanism under the hood, the Yodha has a 3.0-litre four-cylinder engine that can thump out 85 bhp of power at 3,000 rpm and a peak torque of 250 Nm at just 1,000 rpm. The motor is coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox unit.
